January 1, 2014 At the start of the New Year we added five new locations in Shreveport, LA. Included in this expansion are three surface lots downtown, the City Parking Garage valet operation, and a surface lot near the LSU Health Sciences Center.
2013
November 4, 2013 Douglas Parking is excited to announce they have opened offices in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. We will be operating the One West Fourth Street Parking Deck and the 201 Cherry Street Parking Deck effective November 1.
March 10, 2013 Douglas Parking is pleased to announce that we are now operating the Chase Tower parking garage at 707 Virginia Street in Charleston, West Virginia, for Nightingale Realty. We began this operation on March 1, 2013 and are excited for the expansion in this market.
March 5, 2013 On March 1, 2013, our Denver subsidiary, DPW Parking, opened three parking facilities for Toma West. Located in the Central Business District of Downtown Denver, the facilities are 621 Garage on Welton Street, the Lighthouse Lot at 1825 Welton Street, and the Plaza Garage at 18th & California Street. These new facilities combine for a total addition of 1,560 parking spaces.
2012
September 24, 2012 Douglas Parking and it’s Denver subsidiary, DPW Parking, announces the opening of our newest garage in Denver. DPW Parking was awarded the contract for the 1515 Wynkoop Garage in downtown Denver starting September 1, 2012. This is a very busy garage located in the heart of the Lodo District . The building is managed by Hines.

2011
October 8, 2011 In Memory of Donnell Larkin… Donnell Larkin lost his fight against cancer on October 6, 2011 at the age of 46. With 27 years at Douglas Parking, Donnell was one of our most senior and trusted employees. He will be sorely missed by his family at Douglas Parking.
September 30, 2011 Environmentally conscious? Douglas Parking is! We just added two new CNG (compressed natural gas) shuttles to our fleet at Airpark! CNG powered vehicles are more environmentally friendly and a great alternative from traditional methods.
August 30, 2011 Douglas Parking was also awarded The Citadel Building Garage in the Cherry Creek area of Denver beginning September 1, 2011. Douglas Parking is assisting with the installation of automated revenue control equipment to be used for the first time at this garage allowing for daily and validated parking. The building is managed by Cushman & Wakefield.

This garage is located in the Financial District and is adjacent to the world famous San Francisco Chinatown and is up the street from TV Chef Tyler Florence’s Wayfare Tavern.

With a fleet of 12 new passenger buses we are transporting up to 2200 Cosmopolitan employees to and from work (for a total of up to 4400 riders), every day!
January 1, 2011 Douglas Parking is excited to announce the grand opening of our paid public parking lot in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip! Our 600 space lot adjacent to the Hawaiian Marketplace and across the street from City Center is available for tourists, local employees, and long-term parking. The lot compliments our other valet and shuttle operations on the Strip.

In the heart of downtown San Francisco, 255 California Street Garage is an indoor, subterranean garage with valet parking. It offers public parking in the Financial District near Battery Street.
December 1, 2010 Douglas Parking begins providing Shuttle Bus services at the LSU Health Service Campus in Shreveport, Louisiana. The company provides multiple shuttle buses to transport staff to and from various locations and the very busy health center campus.

August 1, 2010 Douglas Parking takes over management of the Old Oakland parking facility in Oakland, California. Old Oakland is a thriving retail, restaurant, and business district in the heart of Oakland. The parking facility will be open seven days per week.
August 1, 2010 Douglas Parking takes over management of the Laidley Tower parking facility in Charleston, West Virginia. Laidley Tower is the largest office building in the state.
July 8, 2010 Douglas Parking takes over management of the 2,500 parking spaces at Greenwood Corporate Plaza surrounding Comfort Dental Amphitheatre (formerly known as Fiddlers Green Amphitheatre) in Englewood, Colorado. April 1, 2010 Douglas Parking is pleased to announce the opening of the Spencer Garage at 610 Crocket Street in downtown Shreveport, Louisiana. The garage will provide daily and monthly parking 6am-6pm Monday-Friday and special event parking for the Strand Theatre. Monthly parking is available by calling 318.834.1104.

January 8, 2010 Douglas Parking takes over the management of the multiple parking facilities at Fruitvale Transit Village in Oakland, CA. The Village contains residences, retail, restaurants, educational services, a medical clinic, and other public services. The current parking staff, including the on-site manager, will remain in place.
